FATAWA: 'THEY INTEND TO ANNIHILATE THE STATEMENT OF TRUTH'
THEY INTEND TO ANNIHILATE THE STATEMENT OF TRUTH
Shaykh Ahmad ibn Yahya al-Najmi (may Allaah have mercy on him) was asked:
Question: What do you think of those who say that: "The scholars should not refute each other at this time, because this strengthens the enemy's backbone , and breaks the rank (of the Muslimeen)?"
Question: What do you think of those who say that: "The scholars should not refute each other at this time, because this strengthens the enemy's backbone , and breaks the rank (of the Muslimeen)?"
Response: This is a false statement, and a abhorred accusation, which is intended with it (is) negating the commanding with good, and the forbidding of evil. It is intended (with it) to annihilate the statement of truth.
