QUESTION: As Salaamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu, may Allaah treat you well our virtuous shaykh and father. I have a question: "There are some Muslims who claim to be Salafi, who say that we do not need the scholars from Islamic lands; because we have scholars from our country of America, and that the scholars from Saudi Arabia, especially Ash-Shaykh Rabi' causes problems among Muslims. What is your advice to the young people?
RESPONSE: There is a disease in their hearts, and they are the people of fitnah and Khawaarij. Do not listen to them!
QUESTIONER: Yes, may Allaah bless you our virtuous shaykh and father. May Allaah preserve you from every evil.

*He is the virtuous shaykh Dr. AbdurRahman ibn Saalih Muhyi Ad-Deen حفظه الله ورعاه born in (1365 H) in Medinah. From among some of his scholars he studied with: Ash-Shaykh Al-Imaam Muhammad al-Ameen Ash-Shanqeeti رحمه الله , and Ash-Shaykh Al-Imaam 'Abdil 'Aziz Bin Baaz رحمه الله , the scholar of Hadeeth ,who had his narration all the way back to the companion Muawiyya رضي الله عنه Ash-Shaykh Hamaad Al-Ansaari رحمه الله ,and Ash-Shaykh Muhammad Amaan ibn 'Ali Al-Jaami'رحمه الله just to name a few.
