Question: May Allaah reward you. What is your view your virtuous Shaykh, about those who say that the books of refutation harden the hearts?
Response: No, leaving the refutations (off) is that in which hardens the hearts; because the people live upon mistakes and misguidance. Therefore, hardened their hearts. As for when the truth is clarified and refute the falsehood, this is what makes the hearts soft, no doubt!
