قال ابن القيم رحمه الله : وسمعت شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية رحمه الله يقول : الذكر للقلب مثل الماء للسمك ، فكيف يكون حال السمك إذا فارق الماء ؟
Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:"I heard(my shaykh) Shaykhul Islaam ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله say: "The Remembrance of Allaah for the heart, is like water for the fish. How would the state of the fish be, if separated from the water(except dead)?"
