A Caution For The Youth Not To Imitate The Minhaj of The Khalaf By Utilizing Some Benenficial Points Of Shaykh Muhammad Bazmool 's What Is Not From The Minhaj Of The Salaf

1. Making it binding to follow the statement of anyone, except the Messenger of Allaah. Especially in matters of Ijtihaad.

2. (Blind) following and fanaticism without evidence.

3. Falling into separation, differing ( in matters of minhaj and creed) and hatred. The slogan of the Salaf  is "Don't hate one another, and don't turn away from one another and be servants of Allaah and brothers. *

4. Giving (the attribute) of infallibility to anyone from the ummah of Muhammad عليه وسلم other than the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم **

5. Attributing a man to the Salaf(minhaj) without looking into his state and his actions and his display (of transparency) upon the Book and the Sunnah with the understanding of the Salaf.

TN: We see the above-selected points as a reality amongst us today. People have made it binding to following the statements of "Zayd" and "Ahmad" in everything they say. The consequences of not following are that you are put aside- the "get down or lay down mentality." Likewise, we see blind following of individuals, separation, differing(in minhaj), hatred, turning away from each other, making some of our beloved scholars and certain students infallible. This is another reality we see rampant amongst some poor souls from the youth. One such youth said: "Whatever student fulan says, he's correct in it." Likewise, giving someone the attribute Salafi, before we look into his state and his actions and or know if he is really Salafi. So much so, even convicted felons who no one knows their state and or who they truly are. Their statements (while being in prison still upon criminal behavior) are given precedence and credibility, over those who are known with being reliable and with being Salafi. Allahul musta'an. We seek refuge in Allaah for safety and firmness for us and for you.

*Based on a hadeeth narrated by Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه found in Saheeh Muslim.
**This issue of infallibility must be understood clearly by the adherents of the Salafi Da'wah. From amongst Ahlus bid'ah, are some (Raafidhi Shi'a) who attribute complete infallibility to The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم which is incorrect. Being free from total error belongs to Allaah and Allaah alone. The adherents to the Salafi Da'wah must understand that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم is free of any major sins, but made minor mistakes. The difference between his minor mistakes and ours is that he would never return to them again after Allaah admonished him. Also, his mistakes were in dunya and not in direct conflict with the deen; because the deen is tawqifiyyah (based on texts). What illustrates this, is the narration found in Muslim wherein the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم advised a companion to pollinate a date-palm a certain way and it didn't work. When he was made aware, he said: " I am only a human being like you. If I tell you something with regard to deen, follow it, but if I tell you to do something from myself, I am only a human being." (Saheeh Muslim)
