(1) During this time, Al-Mawdudi's condition was not know to the Shaykhرحمه الله . So the shaykh رحمه الله thought he (Al-Mawdudi) was upon good, due to the popularity that Abi Al-'Ala Al-Mawdudi enjoyed during that time. This is why, when the Shaykhرحمه الله had heard that Shaykh Rabi حفظه الله ورعاه leveled criticism against him, he wanted to benefit from that criticism. This shows the humility of the scholars, and specifically Ash-Shaykh Bin Baazرحمه الله, due to writing his student shaykh Rabi' حفظه الله ورعاه to benefit from him . It also shows you the level of knowledge that Shaykh Rabi' حفظه الله ورعاه was, and is upon, and that he has always been known as a (legitimate) criticizer of men, and the flag carrier of the science of Al-Jarh Wat-Ta'deel (Praise and Criticism) As Ash-Shaykh Al-Albaanee رحمه الله called him. Unlike the critics from Ahlul Bid'ah claim, and those who have hatred for the sunnah, and the scholars who carry it. That Shaykh Rabi' حفظه الله ورعاه is a nobody and unknown to some of the major scholars.
