Working The Nightshift?

The Standing Committee as follows:

The third question in the Fatwa of the Standing Committee no. 16575

Question: I work as a chef whose working shift is at night time. Is it something forbidden? Is it contradicting the verse of Allah:

وَجَعَلْنَا النَّهَارَ مَعَاشًا

“and made the day to seek livelihood,” (QS. An Naba:11)

The Committee answered:

It is alright to work whether at night or day time, as long as the work doesn’t cause any ill doings, abandoning the congregational prayer or causing the worker to pray out of time.
