Q:  If it has not become clear that the month (of Ramadaan) has entered except during the duration of (its first) day, what is upon the Muslim to do in this case?

A:  If it has not become clear that the month of Ramadaan has entered except during the duration of (its first) day; it is then obligatory upon the Muslims that they refrain (i.e. fast) for the rest of the day, giving esteem to (the remainder of) this time because it is Ramadaan.  However, this day must be made up after Ramadaan because they had broken their fast at the beginning of this day.  Therefore, it is binding upon them to make it up after Ramadaan.

Q: If a fasting person has a wet dream during the daytime in Ramadan; is his fast invalid? (Also) is it obligatory upon him to make Ghusl immediately?

A:  If a fasting person has a wet dream during Ramadan, his fast is valid and the wet dream will not have affected (his fast). This is because it was something with which he had no control over.  It is obligatory (for the person) to make a Ghusl, while being in the state of janaabah (sexual impurity) in order to make Salaah.  (Furthermore), to take a Ghusl immediately is better, though not obligatory, and Allah knows best.
