The Lifespan of (the People from) My Ummah is Between Sixty to Seventy Years and Few Will Go Beyond That

     

    IS MAKING MOCKERY OF ISLAMIC TERMINOLOGY MAKING MOCKERY OF THE DEEN? 

ASH-SHAYKH 'ALI YAHYA AL-HADAADI حفظه الله ورعاه SAID:

"Mockery of the terminology(Al-Fariqatan Naajiyyah-Saved Sect) is the mockery with the hadeeth of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. The one in which reported that the Saved Sect is one and that the destroyed sects in the fire are Seventy Two, is the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. The mockery of the Sunnah, even if joking, is disbelief in Allaah and His Messengerصلى الله عليه وسلم  Allaah 

    The Most High said (which translates to mean):

"Say was it at Allaah, and His Ayaat, and His Messenger that you were mocking? Make no excuse(you have disbelieved)..." 

(Suratul Tawbah 9:65-66)
