Al-Allaamah Rabee Al-Madkhali's Advice to All the Salafis to Have Wisdom & Brotherhood & to Beware of the Plots of Shaytaan
The Imaam, the noble scholar, Shaykh Rabee Hafidahullaah said:
Alhamdullillah wa salaatu wa salaam alaa rasoolillaah wa alaa aalihi wa ashaabihi wa man ittaba al huda
Amma Ba’d:
So that what I advise myself and my brothers and from the Salafi Youth from the east and the west and in Sri Lanka, those who have requested from me this advice,
So I advise them with Taqwa of Allaah and sincerity with Allaah in all of their speech and actions, and striving in seeking knowledge, because we won't understand with the true understanding except that we strive and be persistent in seeking knowledge. And seeking Knowledge is from the Book of Allaah and from the Sunnah of the Messenger صلى الله عليه و سلم. And we should memorise from it that which we are able and have correct understanding of it (as the prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said) ‘Whoever Allaah wants good for, he gives him correct understanding of the religion’.
So study O dear youth, be persistent in striving in seeking knowledge and the understanding of the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of the messenger صلى الله عليه و سلم and seek aid in understanding the Book of Allaah & the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah صلی الله عليه و سلم with the correct understanding of the Companions and the Righteous Predecessors may Allaah be pleased with them.
And I advise you with brotherhood between yourselves and to be tolerant to each other and work to bring your hearts closer to one another and to show mercy between yourselves so that you may become as the likes of one single body.
As the Messenger صلى الله عليه و سلم said that the Believers are as one body; they strengthen & support one another.
And the Messenger صلى الله عليه و سلم ordered with tolerance and bringing the hearts closer in numerous narrations. As the Messenger صلى الله عليه و سلم said ‘Don’t abandon your brother, don’t consider him to be despicable, and don’t have envy for him, but be worshipers of Allaah as brothers’
So establish brotherhood between yourselves and stay away from those causes of differences and causes of splitting ...because the shaytaan seeks to cause splitting between Ahlus Sunnah and cause them to attack one another. So beware of the plots of the shaytaan and don’t submit to following the emotions. Rather use your intellects to understand, and upon you is to have patience and tolerance.
And if one of you is attacked or affected with something, then upon him is to be patient and tolerant and don’t have a reactive response to it as has occurred with some of the youth. And learn to have tolerance and patience and wisdom in speech and action.
So I ask Allaah to give you success and we ask Allaah to give us and them success and the Lord is the One who listens to our Dua.
wa sallallaahu ala nabeeyina Mohammad wa alaa aalihi wa sahbihi wa sallam
