Tremendous Virtues of Reviving the Sunnah

The reward of 50 companions who do
such deeds
The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم)
said: Ahead of you there lie days of patience, during which being patient
will be like grasping a hot coal. The one who does good deeds then will have a
reward like that of fifty men who do such deeds.And someone else
added: They said: Oh Messenger of Allaah, the reward of fifty of them? He
said: The reward of fifty of you.
In some reports of the hadeeth, it
reads, "They are the ones who will revive my Sunnah and teach it to the
people." (Narrated by Abu Dawood (4341); al-Tirmidhi (3085) and he said:
it is a hasan hadeeth. It was classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah
al-Saheehah [494])
The Best of the Muslims Revive the
Sunnah
أَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ ، أَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نُعَيْمٍ الضَّبِّيُّ ،أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ بْنِ رَيْحَانَ ،
قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ
يَعْنِي الْبُخَارِيَّ ، يَقُولُ : أَفْضَلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
رَجُلٌ أَحْيَا سُنَّةً مِنْ سُنَنِ الرَّسُولِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
قَدْ أُمِيتَتْ ، فَاصْبِرُوا يَا أَصْحَابَ السُّنَنِ رَحِمَكُمُ اللَّهُ ،
فَإِنَّكُمْ أَقَلُّ النَّاسِ
Yusef ibn Rayhaan said: My
father told me: I heard Abu 'Abdillaah Muhammad ibn Isma'eel (Bukhaaree)
say: The best of the Muslims is a man who revives a Sunnah from the Sunnah
of the Messenger that had died. So be patient oh people of the Sunnan, may
Allaah have mercy on you, for indeed you are the minority among the
